In the BX, we use the term "represent" to speak about a character trait, economic status or a lived experience specific to your background. I wouldn't be much of a native son if I didn't represent the Bronx on my site. The BX Forum is a blog devoted to my experience of growing up in the South Bronx and in NYC in general.
